Se7en - Editing

In a thriller, editing comes up and would be considered the least important out of camera, M-E-S, Sound and editing, but due to the fact that we are focusing on thrillers, it is very important, as the inclusion of credits means that we have to find an effective way of getting the credits into the opening.

In Se7en they use simple but effectlive editing to create a great effect, when it comes to the creditis, they use a variaity of effects, they use the fade in of some, but then in the next they would blitz's it onto the screen, sometimes it would stay on for afew second, or the next it would be a milly second then flash back to the opening then a milly second more back to the credits, the effect this creates makes the whole thing wuite strange, just something doesnt look "right" about it.
They use other effects like abit of film running out on one of those old projectors, this gives it an old eary feel to the whole thing.
With the credits themselves, they pulse, flash or more across the screen.
