This is a useful mnemonic device which should help all students to remember the important contributions within media and films that should always be considered.
A - Audience - Thr reaction and response.
P - Production - who, where, what was done within the film
O -Ownership - who owns what? and why do they own that? Is there any vertical or horizontal intergration?
S - Synergy - who joined who? Was it benefitial ro success?
T -Technology - How was the new technology impacted and used within the production? Provisions.
C -Convergence - consider both technological and media, how did this create success?
O - Online - how has online technology helped? websites, promotions, free clips etc
D - Distribution - getting the films to the audiences, how was this done, when, where, by who?
E - Exhibition - showing of the films and exhibiting the film in a variety of places, how has it added to the success.
